Parodianus

Parodianus, a parody of parodius, made in less than 3 days for #indiesvspewdiepie jam.

A "classic shoot'em up", I mean you've got to blast space key to shot if you want to survive, even if you're shooting while. I suggest you to try avoiding collisions with arrows keys too., éhé...

The gameplay is pretty simple : your firepower gives you strenght, destructiong your ship will reduce your firepower.

With +15 weapons upgrades, 3 power-up types, dozens of ennemies, and some are big ones ...

In case you don't know your classics, we're talking about a big root of the SHOOT'EM UP label... Parodius (begining in 88) were a really cool arcade games succession, making "fun" of Gradius(85), with non-sense ultra fun cartoon visuals and non-sens ultra frustrating difficulty. Many games were produce under this flag ; my favorite is Parodius dà. Give it a try, if you never did... The Snes version is perfect.

The Parodianus version uploaded for now is not, at the opposite... But everthing is made in < 72 hours...

WHAT WAS PLANNED BEFORE THE JAM STOPS :

-Many implementation and diversification of vilains

-Music **implementation**

-"real" levels are on the way :)

-MORE WEAPONS ??WHO WANTS MORE??????

-DIFFICULTY MODE!

PS : I only have a free version of Construct ; "events" are limited to 100 in this version.Right now i can code 20 more(the game is made of 80 events right now... that was hard to code this way;)) . I made this game to train myself with game making tools... Construct seems cool, but the free version limitations are more restricting than what i expected!!!so keep in mind this is very raw and unpolished, and my software version is limiting me :(...
