What do you think?

Fun game, spent a few hours playing it. I liked the game in general, but it did have a few weak points as well. Here are some pros and cons, as well as a few bugs I've found:

Pros:

  • Extremely fun after you start building a good defense

  • Levels are challenging, and require strategy

  • Fair enemy variety

  • Good weapon variety

  • Satisfying explosion effect

  • Sound effects have a nice retro feel

Cons:

  • Levels feel too short (You usually set up your perfect defense towards the end of the level, and it would be nice to play around with it for at least a few more waves)

  • Only 3 levels

  • Enemy sprites look too similar

  • Upgraded turrets don't give back any more resources than non-upgraded ones

  • Upgraded turrets and non-upgraded turrets use the same sprite

Bugs:

  • The text showing the upgrade cost and profit of selling overlaps with the previous text, making it hard or sometimes impossible to see the numbers

  • "The Basic" and "The Nuclear Device" (mainly "The Nuclear Device") sometimes won't shoot while the an enemy is clearly in range, or even break and never shoot again

The graphics are very simple, but this is definitely one of the best games I've played on GameJolt. 9/10

Really good tower defence, just need some graphic improvement and few map with difficulty level.

Ps: Thx for the speed button ! Some enemy are sooo slow xD

GOTTA GO SANIC FAST

Pixel Defence

A new game called Pixel Defence.

I make this game while I had a break on TeraWar, I got to meet some awesome people along the way, and Iā€™m now a part of a group called Pixel Knife !

Enjoy !
