man for a game that weights 10 megabytes this was one hell of a fun ride! a challenging, yer very fun rogue-like experience with pretty cool randomized dungeons and nice weapon selection) the sprite work is pretty on-point, too! everything looks great and performs very well - i only found a single (but still pretty harmless) bug while playing the game!)

the bug in mention is that sometimes blue slimes spawn at the corner of a wall and remain stationary - they're pretty much harmless this way. i had them spawn like this two times already, always in the same position)

as for the ideas - i think that having more cool enviroments to explore and different enemies would be great! the slimes are pretty good enemies for the demo, but having some other baddies trying to take the main character down would be great - the game has planetary in its name, so, why not make the new enemies some aliens with crazy designs and unique attack patterns!) the final boss at the exit of the dungeon is pretty cool - it's a nice bullet hell boss and serves as the big daddy of the smaller gun slimes, but i think that having some other slime boss would be great as well - maybe a big slime that has some spikes in it - it moves slowly at occasionally shoots out spikes in a circular pattern around himself!) the weapon selection is pretty good, but it's also pretty basic - i think that adding more unique and crazy weapons would be great!) just your modern-age weapons are fine, too, but having a futuristic blaster, a spear-thrower or a crossbow shooting sawblades would be a lot more interesting and fun to play around with!) as for the graphics, i think that adding a walk cycle and a shadow for the main character would not only look good, but also help the game feel a lot more natural)

all in all, this demo has a lot of potential and is pretty good by itself - it has great graphics, challenging and fun gameplay, interesting progression and a good system with randomly generated dungeons!) JustJedd, i wish you best of luck, lots of inspiration and nerves of steel while developing Planetary Dungeons!) take care!

I am a channel in Spanish, I am starting on YouTube! and I have tested your game, I am using the translator, sorry if you do not understand me well ahah, the game has seemed quite entertaining I like how it looks and the movement of the character, I like the gameplay a lot. Negative things for me, the small tremor that makes when shooting I think that for many people it can be annoying, I would love for the boss to have a different mechanic, to change the shooting mode or something like that, not only the speed, for the rest I find it quite interesting, very good work.

Planetary Dungeons is a fast-paced, hardcore dungeon crawler, with elements inspired by many others games, combining the shear amount of randomization of dungeons and planets with a bullet-hell styled gameplay.

As you play and level up, dungeons will not only get longer and harder but the enemies grow stronger with each run you do, to help you continue to strife in the dungeons, you can upgrade yourself by either improving your stats or buying yourself some new arsenal, ranging from pistols to shotguns and even assault rifles.

The dungeon is not easy road, with a small amount of health and health potions being VERY scarce, be patient, take your time and dodge the enemies, because one wrong move will cause you to lose EVERYTHING!

This game has been a dream game of mine to make, I have not only created 4 other versions of this game but have been working on just this one alone for just over a year, with all the practice I have had over the years I believe that what I'm building here is what I've always dreamt of making.

Controls :

WASD - Player Movement.

SHIFT - Player Run.

LEFT MB - Fire Weapon.

R - Reload Weapon.

E - Use/Buy.

1/2 - Switch Weapon Slot.

TAB - Open Stats/Map.

HOME/END - Adjust SFX Volume.

PGUP/PGDN - Adjust BGM Volume.
