I completed the easy mode, the game is quite nice and challenging even in easy it's not that easy
Update on that previous comment, the game seems a bit easier now, however the boss just absolutely beat my ass.
Keep it up with this art style though! Love it.

Hey everyone, I recently reworked some stuff with this game, adding a new weapon system with 5 new upgradeable weapons, and more balance!

Two nations, after being on the brink of war for as long as they can remember, is cast into action when one of the nation´s princess is found dead.
In the past, the world started developing new and larger guns, the gunmen could at one point not carry the weapons anymore. So one nation went from a gunman to a mangun, robots fitted with the latest weaponry. You are one such unit, tasked with destroying the enemy airforce before they can attack the home nation.
Game features:
6 Levels with a plethora of enemies and bosses
Powerups
Hard mode and Easy mode (ps, hard mode is hard and easy mode is easier than hard mode)
Loads of fun.
Powerups:
Kumquat juice= power, increases the power of your bullets
Frog legs = Jump boost
Shield= I think you know what it does
Boots=speedboost
Drumstick = Health
