This will take many tries. It's really tough but also fun! :)
Couldn't get past the first boss. This is great though, I just suck too much.
Ragnarok is a story about deception, propaganda, and the efforts one nation made to break free. This game, however, tells only half the story. You are a mercenary hired to look into what first seemed like an unaccounted fund transfer. Soon, it becomes much more. Starting on the planet Yllevan, an icy tomb to civilization, and threatening to expand to nearby mineral planet Trion, a beast of an oligarchy bursts open from a previously unknown country. Unable to wait any longer, you're sent in to uncover what was hidden from the Allied congress and if necessary, sabotage it. Your work doesn't go unnoticed, however...
Ragnarok was created by Link3000 for the GameJolt Indie De-Make contest. Music is from Newgrounds (EliteFerrex) and Cave Story OST (Final Battle; 'Pixel').
Controls -
Left/Right - Move horizontally
Up - Jump / Use jetpack when in the air (fuel in blue bar)
Space - Shoot (uses ammo in red bar)
Techniques to Learn -
Rocket-Jump - Jump normally, then activate your jetpack as you are about to hit the ground.
Stealth - Avoid enemies' lines of sight. Cameras will send out a swarm of drones and guards will chase and fire at you. Cameras' lasers can hit one anothers, leading to gaps in security.
Badassery - No doubt about it, this game is tough. It's sort of like a boss-rush with a few calm scenes and a story. 4 bosses, ranging from "hard" to "I can't win"*, it really is something to behold.
