I really enjoyed the nostalgia it brought back! The game really picks up after the first few levels; the Bat boss was by far the best! Overall, great art, mechanics and music :)

Great fun for someone looking for a classic and difficult game :)
Inspired by classics like Double Dragon II and Golden Axe, Retired Knight takes you on an adventure across a kingdom beset by a sudden evil. Strange creatures have been seen near your forest home, and not even chickens are to be trusted as you set forth to save the kingdom! You're adventures will lead you into forsaken forests, darkening caves and even the underworld itself! Find your King, save the kingdom, and wield a gigantic sword to strike down all who oppose you in this game boy styled Hack n' Slash for the #gbjam! If using Windows, you may even try your luck with a controller.
