Can you enable quick play?
A great platform game. You are clearly very proficient in Blitz Basic. I felt at times that the player should be only allowed to jump a the toggle of the jump key. The timing of some of the jumps are hard enough, and when you do eventually make it on to the platform, if you've still got the jump key held down then you end up smashing your head into a spike. White on yellow is never a good choice of colour schema, it's too hard on the eyes. The information at the top of the screen (white on a bright yellow background) -- would look far better as black on yellow. All 'n all a nice little "retro" platformer which clearly illustrates the capabilities of Blitz Basic. 3.75 / 5 (75%)
You are Robert and you live in an unspecified country in Latin America and your favourite telenovela is about to begin but you're far away from home and there are drunken drivers and drug dealers in the way.
In order to get home in time you will have to RUN ROBERT, RUN.
Controls:
F4 : Changes to fullscreen/windowed mode
Esc : Resets the "console" (pretend the game is running on a console but it's not) or destroys it in case it's in the title screen.
Enter : it's both the start and "pause" button.
Left and Right : walk
Z : Jump
X : Shoot
PROTIPS: Like in real life, Robert can die if a car or the devil hits him, so avoid being killed by cars and playing cards with the devil (he'll deal you an awful hand). Also, like in real life, drug dealers are paranoid and will try to kill you if you attack them or stay near them for too long. However, you may also murder the devil, the drunk drivers and drug dealers to steal their possessions for personal gain.
But why would you do that?
