Hey, I really enjoyed playing this! I felt like the concept of choosing your destination without knowing much about it--and then having to explore the different locations to figure out what could be interacted with--makes for a very unique adventure. It's like an open-world type game, but it's organized in a linear fashion, which makes it very accessible. I hope that makes sense, it's hard to articulate exactly what I mean; but it's a good thing.
I laughed at that little goat eating all those Peppers, and laughed again when the guy wanted me to "take the annoying girl away", on my boat, haha! It was very amusing, but it shows the underlying quest-like system you have going on, and it's really neat.
Is there a way to beat the aliens and get the special sword? I just couldn't survive! Anyway, you should continue to build upon this post-jam. Keep up the good work!
Looks like a good game but it disappointed me, a lot! You clearly worked hard but for next time make the objective more clear and fix the game crashing bugs which annoyed me! Good luck for the competition though!

Eliminate the bad guys, reunite family, friends and live stock in Sailboat Dude an open world adventure made for #AdvJam2016.. Right now there are four destinations. With the frame work laid down It could be expanded very nicely.
Controls:
Use arrow key to move character in combat "S" for sword on land. When on boat simply click your destination and Sailboat Dude does the rest.
Game Controller:
Left analog stick to move character in combat "X" for sword.

I know I shoulda spent less time giving the game a scoreboard and gamepad support. For an adventure Jam I should have spent more time with the story. Still pretty cool though much potential. Check it out.
