I like it, but Santa is moving too slow for me..
Love the graphics! Nice little game :) But it felt like the fps got really low near the end. Are you constantly spawning snowflakes and never destroying them when they leave the room? Or maybe it just was like that for me. Btw where was the sound effects and increased speed of the ball after each hit? :D
This is my first real game ever, and my first attempt at writing GML, done in a day for #ChristmasGameJam because I believe in a) a challenge and b) being a public amateur. It's a Breakout clone. It's 8-bit Santa themed.
The visual bug when the bauble drops is now repaired. The high-score storage is not, and I'm still working on it.
It's still not very fun, which is probably more fundamental. But it was a really interesting experience and I've learnt a ton from working on it already!
