SCP: Fortress of Darkness is a resource-management game based on tales from the SCP Wiki. The game casts the player in the role of a Site Director of a SCP Containment Facility/Site that was built to hold anomalies that escaped multiple facilities/sites/areas after a mass containment breach caused by the mysterious 05 Council. Create the site you want to create. Contain the anomalies that you must contain. After all, mankind must not go hiding back in fear. No one will protect us, and we must stand up for ourselves.

While the rest of mankind dwells in the light, we must stand in the darkness to fight it, contain it, and shield it from the eyes of the public, so that others may live in a sane and normal world.

We secure. We contain. We protect.

Construct the site

Gather and utilize the resources to build new rooms for the facility/site/area. Send out the MTF to recontain the anomalies once they are found again. Repair the rooms to prevent the anomalies from breaching containment again.

Contain the anomalies

Explore a semi-randomly generated world, battle through waves of enemies as the MTF that you send out. Then, secure, contain and protect the anomaly if you can.

Conserve humanity

Strengthen your employees and send the MTF on a journey to recontain the anomaly in the nearby area. Defend against hostile Groups of Interest and secure, contain and protect the anomalies on the road to proving yourself as the definitive site director.
