The idea is good but the lack of HP meter and low damage ruin the fun. IMO it would be better if there's HP meter for each part and higher damage for starting attacking parts
When robots have disagreements they settle them in the scrap yard. Build your scrap tank out of variety of blocks and enter the arena.
Find your unique fighting style. Will you destroy their wheels? Take out the weapons? Or attack the pilot directly?
Destroy your opponent, collect their scrap, improve your tank, repeat.
