What an amazing fangame! I really didn't think an endless runner (endless surfer? lol) could have so much to it, but you proved me wrong.
There are a multitude of worlds, each with their own fun gimmicks to them. The bosses were especially challenging, but oh so satisfying to defeat.
Even the post-game was surprising! The "hard mode" for this fangame doesn't just bump up the difficulty, but also remixes existing levels that introduce new obstacles to dodge, new gimmicks to overcome, and even new bosses that demand your mastery over them.
Overall, I HIGHLY recommend any Nintendo fan to pick this game up, you'll be surprised by not only the amount of content that's in it, but also the quality of them as well!
the climb difficult spike is completely unfair same with the sliver surfer this game needs a restart button of some kinda when you are at 1 health and you have not even done a single hit to the boss however the game art and music are very well made one of the best takes on a auto runner..? i have seen. 7/10
this is a really fun game! i just wish there was controller support, i know its a very simple game but im not really great on controlling on keyboard so if you could add controller support that would be great.
isn't there a way to listen to the music without playing any levels?

Use WASD or the Arrow Keys to move.
Press SPACE or Z to Jump, and hold it midair to Float.
Press SHIFT or X to use your Shield, when you have one.
Press ENTER or ESCAPE to pause the game.
The game can also be controlled with a gamepad via JoyToKey.
GAMEPLAY
Shy Guy Surfing is an arcade-style endless runner, inspired by mobile games like Flappy Bird and Super Mario Run. You'll guide your surfer through a sea of randomly-generated obstacles, chasing a thousand-meter milestone to reach the next area. Enemies and hazards will jam up the path, so keep your hearts in check and don't get squashed!
Journey Mode is a singleplayer campaign with a set beginning and end, including checkpoints to mark your progress and boss encounters to break up the pace.
Endurance Mode is a truly endless score-attack marathon, starting from zero to beat your personal best or take your place on the leaderboard.
Extra challenges lie beyond the end of Journey Mode, for only the most experienced surfers. No wimps allowed!
