Sonic was wandering around Mobius when he suddenly found himself on planet Earth. He then discovers that Doctor Eggman has created a reality-warping machine that has transferred zones from Mobius to Earth, creating "temporal" anomalies in various zones. Sonic must navigate these zones to stop Eggman and return his zones to Mobius, and restore everything on Earth to its proper place.

Соник гулял на Мобиусе, но вдруг очутился на планете Земля. После чего обнаруживает, что доктор Эггман создал машину изменения реальности, которая перенесла зоны с мобиуса на землю, создавая "временные" аномалии в разных зонах.
