Do you plan on updating the prototype? It feels like a lot of core features are missing.

Also a little idea I had for the game is to be able to edit the layout of your ship. Both the actual shape of it as well as where the bridge and stuff is.

No. Though you can find all items in the GameData\base\scripts\items folder. Their UIDs are in their file name.
Space Impossible Prototype is the free, fully formed prototype in which the player commands a space ship in a fully destructible universe. Everything is made of tiles, with a per tile health value, tile type and mass.
Fly around and explore, mine materials to build new ships, get into combat with enemy AI, smash into asteroids and more.
Space Impossible PROTOTYPE is a legacy version of the game. It is not under current development. Space Impossible ALPHA is under active development and available as part of Early Access on Steam.
