To start off, as a fan of the shoot'em up genre I got to say that the game you made is up to a good start. I have a few suggestions and one of them is to add a HUD of the weapons that acquire. Have the weapon HUD that is shape as a box that is position at the middle of the top screen. That way the player can find and switch an icon of the weapon within the box at faster rate. The second suggestion is to slightly enlarge the current HUD within the game to where the score, credit and armor is small. My last suggestion is to include a pause menu that can be access with the “P” key for PC or start for the joystick. I hope these suggestions help your game.
