Just downloaded as you would and it starts fine, i have added instructions to the description in case that was the problem. One thing worth a mention is press space to move past the initial screens.

arrow keys - to move the car including down to brake
Spacebar - fires when available
Please note: to move past the initial screens like the dev team one and the Click Fusion one simply press the Spacebar.
