Color me surprised. For some reason, I was expecting something generic and boring. Instead, I got a pretty decent Sonic-the-Hedgehog-like game.
...then again, that's my misjudgment. You have proven yourself an amazing dev in many ways. I kinda wish we could collaborate on something. It's a great game and, if you never really finish it, a great engine.

ENG: This is a very nice game! The graphics are lush and colorful. The controls are smooth and tailored to perfection.

**PROJECT STATUS**
Hello everyone !

After almost 2 years of inactivity on Game Jolt and Super Glovekid I decided to wrap it up and essentially release the game as-is.

The reason I'm doing this is because after the SAGE 2018 release, the feedback made me realise that the game had many issues that would require way too much work to fix.

I started working on this game way too early and made some stupid decisions early on that impacted the final game.

Things such as the color palette, level structure and length, and so on.

The reason I don't want to properly finish the game, is because I'm pretty sure I could do better by starting everything over.

The game isn't as good as I want it to be, and doesn't feel like a game I would make nowadays.

However I know some people enjoyed the game, so I still wanted to release what I have.

I added some very basic end screens and made some small adjustments, but aside from those changes the game is in the same state as it was prior to SAGE.

When I released the SAGE 2018 demo, I had already made all 30 levels and 10 bosses, so the game is about 90% complete.

The build I'm releasing here contains all the levels and bosses, and the menus are all functional.

The only things I had left to do were proper ending cinematics, fixing a few bugs, and adding extra modes.

Despite the end result, I don't feel like I wasted my time. Working on this tought me a lot, and I still want to return to it one day, and make another brand-new Glovekid game.

I'm very sorry to those who were waiting for the finished game to come out, but after SAGE I basically lost motivation and moved on to other projects.

Besides, the build is almost 100% finished and all levels and bosses are playable, so nothing was really lost in the process.

Since I'm done with Super Glovekid, I'm now working on my sequel to Tube Craft with textured floors, voxels and much better gameplay and programming.

**GAME DESCRIPTION**

Fast-paced platformer with 16-bit graphics.

Play as either Glovekid or Glovegirl and dash through colorful levels in varied and beautiful worlds.

Each level contains 5 red gems and 50 blue gems, try finding them all !

Super Glovekid is fully compatible with USB gamepads.

This demo release features a selection of 8 levels from the final game.
It also features 2 different boss fights.
