SVR (an acronym meaning Star Voyager Resistant) is a horizontal side-scrolling shooter game and the first installment of the parallel universe of Aegius series of shoot 'em ups. It is also an inspiration of game features: Space Impact, Gradius, Darius, Burai Fighter and Raiden series.
The game eventually sets when the Hades Empire risen up for their revenge on Aegians (people of planet Aegius) and the other parts of a solar system after the examination of an alien artifact called Space Nemesis, which is mysteriously came out from the dark planet Hereticus. As Aegians contact Earth for help, Lack Moonwalker, the famous pilot of Earth's Planetar Alliance will defend humanity and save the solar system around whole universe from conquering the empire's destructive alien invasion, especially their main mastermind named Belker.
