Introduction
I'm a young (java-) game developer from Germany.

I decided to make this game for people who don't want to play those massively overhyped first-person-shooters and other games from big publishers. The game is a little bit about "thinking outside the box". I think every fan of Valve's "Portal" will like it.

Story
Unfortunately there isn't a real story. You are just this robot-like little guy (I just call it "Doodle") lost in a child's bedroom at night. You're trying to make your own way, because the child dont made up its room.

Gameplay
Like in Portal, you have to solve puzzles. There are several chapters containing several maps (chambers) which you have solve step-by-step. But you're not alone. There are a few other Doodles in the map, and now there's the point: You can't solve the levels without them. By "syncing" into other Doodles and taking control of them, you can make your way through the doors, buttons, turrets and other gameplay-elements.

Only by combining the power off all Doodles and using it at the right place, you can solve the puzzle.

Development and requirements
You can play Synced completly free. It's based on the concept "spread the word if you enjoyed".

The game itself is in an early alpha state, but there are multiple updates coming out per month (sometimes, even per week).

Synced is completly written in Java, which means you need Java 1.7+ to be able to play. It is currently only tested on windows-os.

It includes a fully automatic Launcher & Updater which brings the latest builds to you.

To be able to play, you need to register an account. (Thats important because there is an account-related bugtracker may will be a coop-mode)

You get all informations about installing it here : http://itoobi.de/synced

If the game should crash, please send the occured bug to the bugtracker by simply clicking the shown button. This will help fixing the bug quickly.

Additional information

The game is tested on Windows 7 Home (64bit) @ 4 GigaByte Ram, but it should work on "lower" systems too.
