Non-compo entry for The Arbitrary Gamejam 19 (#TAGJam19)
http://jams.gamejolt.io/tagjam19

Themes: Tilde, Contraction (of grammar), Text-based + Survival horror.

Sorry, I didn't get to spend enough time putting together the gameplay/story. I spent too much time during the jam working on the aesthetics. The day/night cycle took half the jam, mostly because I was sitting there mesmerized, staring at it.

The game only had 1 half-made level hastily slapped together during the last 30 minutes of the 12 hour grace period of the jam and barely any gameplay. I had quite a lot of interesting story/gameplay planned but didn't get to do any of it. I'm definitely continuing to work on this game after the jam.)

Premise

The civilization of Grammaria crumbled as the TXTMSG pandemic swept the land. The outbreak left hordes of incoherent cellphone zombies in its wake.

You are a survior on a journey to find the fabled Last Bastion of Grammar. You are following a herd of wild ~tildebeest on their mysterious migration route which is rumored to pass your destination.

Can you follow and protect the herd from zombies long enough to reach your destination? Or will you perish in this strange and beautiful land?
