technicaly and psychologicaly, binaural beat is not suposed to work when we concentrate into doing anything else than laying down to relax and is, technicaly, completely unneficient when you stare at a computer screen and exposing yourself to electronic radiation.
though your game look kind of fun and lovely. i will try it.
This game is best experienced in fullscreen, while using headphones.
CONTROLS:
-Use WASD/Arrow Keys to move
-Hold Shift to run
-Press space to jump
-Activate collected abilites with 1,2,3, and 4
-Press escape to exit to menu.
THIS GAME UTILIZES BINAURAL MODULATING FREQUENCIES! If you are prone to seizures, or are uncomfortable with exposure to hypothetically mind altering stimuli, you can turn the binaural frequency off in the menu.
TERRA SONATA is my entry into the 2014 #peaceloveandjam game jam. The culmination of several of my experiments in creating biomes, atonal melodies, and integrating subconscious binaural stimulation into games. Explore the intertwined landscape of sounds and harmonies, and follow the various melodies of life as they interact and grow. Search the island for magical glyphs that bestow control over time and space to aid you in your journey. All the while, allow the gentle modulations of the underlying binaural frequency to lull your mind into a state of utter relaxation and calm.
