What do you think?

Huge fan of plague doctors.

I found it to be all right.
It had a consistent and interesting visual aesthetic, some rather downplayed and atmospheric sound design and some interesting sanity effects which did get me a few times (Though I did not personally find the game to be scary due to a lack of urgency or threat).

I would say that this game was rather easy, as most of the challenge consisted of inventory puzzles that - for the most part - make sense unlike a lot of the games this appears to draw inspiration from.
Paying close attention to the books and my surroundings meant that I got what I think is the 'good' ending in around 20 minutes or so, although from what I understand there are other endings to find as well.

My main gripe with the game is the controls.

For the most part they work; left mouse button to use/interact and the right mouse button to inspect.
Whenever I went to interact with an object far away from me, however, the game wasn't smart enough to move me there automatically so I could interact with it, and instead it would tell me 'You're not close enough'.

This meant that if I wanted to use an object on the other side of a room or hall, I would have to click near it to move there at a snails pace, and when the Charlatan finally got there, I could just use the left mouse button to get on my very way. Having an option to run by double-clicking, or being able to move with the arrow keys/WSAD, or just increasing the walking speed a little may help to streamline the experience in my opinion.

Overall, a decent effort.

Nice!

HA HA I really liked this game, onion as medicine. And It’s pretty historically accurate, stinking dark aged lol good job keep it up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGe2T63-0Qg

This is old doctor from 2 World War? Or this... Creepy video on youtube.

You are a charlatan, trapped in the previous doctor's home while the townspeople outside are screaming for your blood. Make a cure or find a way to escape before they end you. Created for MAGS January, 2016.
