With the Evil Baron defeated and the Kingdom well and truly saved, our noble hero, the Valiant Knight, takes flight into the great yonder to fight another day. The End.

But wait! It seems our Valiant Knight has returned to fight The Evil Baron once more in a battle of wits, wiles and wordplay!

Controls:

Left Stick = Movement
A = Jump / Double Jump
X = Attack
Start = Restart

The edges of the screen come in very handy for wall slides!

The Important Part - The Versions

As with any game made under immense pressure and time constraints, The End didn't quite meet our expectations. So to help people see the difference of how we did in the jam and how things should have been, we thought it would be good to upload both the original version of the game and an updated version with bug fixes and the like.

The updated version has a lot of the things we wanted fixed, fixed! These include:

• Sped up the scrolling of "The End" title at the beginning

• Fixed centre of title & character on intro screen

• Game closes ten seconds after the Baron has been defeated

• Letter "J" stops at the same time as the rest of the logo

• Jamchester logo is destroyed upon Baron death proceeding then to the end of the game

• F1 and M buttons added for Fullscreen and Mute modes respectively

• Pressing A skips intro screen

• The Evil Baron's movement now follows the player at a certain distance and move away when too close

• Sound effect added and restart button disabled upon The Evil Baron's inevitable death!

• Enemies shove player with more gusto

• Longer distance to check collision between enemy and player

• Sound effect added for enemy's horrible and bloody demise!

• Disabled restart button on The Evil Baron's* death

The original version of the game is exactly how we left it. It comes bundled with all the bugs, broken things and lack of music that we just couldn't get around to sorting out in time. Please bear this in mind when downloading the game especially as we had not equipped the game with any end game function or exit button.
