The Garden (Prototype Game)

Here I am with a brand-new game prototype called The Garden, which I made in Construct 2 engine. I managed to complete everything I set out to do: creating one level, the chase of the bizarre flowers, haha, and the ending. :)

I wanted to make it very weird and strange, especially after noticing that Construct 2 handles music and sounds really poorly—importing old OGG files randomly and then playing them in a kind of corrupted way in the game, which I don’t know how to fix. But I actually used that to my advantage to make the game bizarre and strange, with these really unusual plants. You find yourself in this little garden surrounded by the edges of these plants, which are like bushes, and you have to be careful not to get caught by them. One of them even slows you down! It’s truly a bizarre game, just the way I like to make them, haha ;D

P.S.  The sounds can be REALLY LOUD!!

Some of the engine’s features and tools felt a bit limited, you know—like there were many things you just couldn’t do or implement properly, stuff that I could easily handle in the Clickteam Fusion 2.5 engine, but I didn't want to do games in that engine, my purpose in this period was/is to test many other engines, and see what games I am able to do!

Sincerely this game gives me old Mr. Mix bizzarre creepypasta vibes, haha, like it seems one of these type of games, and that's exactly what I wanted to do! 😁
