What do you think?

nice work

Pretty cool game! Action/RPGs were always a favorite growing up.

I'm stuck at Hayhurst. I can't proceed anywhere, sleeping in inn is not doable so does going on a boat

This game surely has potential but it is need of a little polishing.
I love the concept of a platform action game with RPG elements. I've a few ideas of my own game development in that direction that never came to be.
The first thing that comes to mind is this: are words like "you fucking penis" really needed? I'm not above foul language myself, really if you want to learn Dutch words they will not teach you when taking Dutch lessons you'll have to hang out with me for awhile. In storylines and conversation however you should only use foul language if it really adds something to the story or to the character using foul language. Take this advice from an experienced novel writer. :)
Second, in modern platform gaming design it's quite common not to announce a "game over" when falling down, but rather to transport you back to the latest "relatively" safe spot. Perhaps you should watch a few videos of people playing the (3D) horror platformer Alice the Madness Returns, as that game perfectly demonstrates what I mean. Trust me, I've played that game on all difficulty settings and the game does not become less challenging because of that, only less frustrating when things go wrong. (Alice does trigger a "Game Over", offering to load the latest savegame when you get yourself killed by enemies). Platformers and frustration have always gone hand-in-hand, and being player-friendly does not take away the difficulty of the game (unlike popular belief). Lastly, the "double jump" sequence feels a little awkward. I've played several games with a double jump feature (Jazz Jackrabbit II has it when you select the character "Spaz", Wild Arms 4 has it and Alice even has a triple jump) and all these support double jump simply by pressing the jump button twice. Of course your game is not any of the three I mentioned (and that's a good thing as that makes your game unique, don't get me wrong), but sometimes being a bit more uniform with other titles can help. (Maybe I just need to practice more).
Of course I also have some good stuff to note you really shouldn't change. The story line as I get it now is to vindicate yourself for being blamed for a murder you did not commit. Not a very deep story, but an action focussed game does not need anything more I believe. Savespots as being mailboxes to send letters to your girlfriend is actually quite brilliant and right now I'm slapping myself for being so stupid to never think of that myself. The inventory screen looks well organized, and the game explains its controls pretty well to the player in a clear, yet not annoying way. Those are elements you really should leave the way they are.

I will give this game a follow, and for now I'll rate it 3/5 due to the issues I named above, but I am really really curious of what this game can become. If you come up with a more polished version of this game I will surely modify my rating in your favor.

The potential is there, I am not disappointed by what I saw. This game is a clear example of a dev who has only just begon to walk on the ladder to greatness, and if you put your true love and devotion into game developing and learn from this game, objective comments and from any future projects I'm quite confident some outstanding games will come from you in the future.

I believe in you!

seems like a lot of love and work has gone into this! great job!
