The Poor's Choice

You are a young teenager. Your parents were taken from you at birth and you have scraped through life as best you could until now.
Legend says that a beast lives in a cave atop the frigid Mount Saul, a beast that tests those who dare approach. The Legend claims that if someone were to pass all of the beast's trials, then they would receive a power greater than anything known to man.
With no gold, no food, and an old cloak over your back, you set off up Mount Saul in a last-ditch attempt to live in poverty no more.
Beware. Many have gone, but none have returned.
