FNF Corruption: Night Trouble is a Friday Night Funkin' mod based on the Corruption universe, in which a virus has spreaded and has infected the main characters. In this take, characters created by the community are included in this chaos, answering the question of how would the story change if they were present. The mod includes Whitty, Carol and Sunday, who are related to each other, so the story is more interesting.

The mod is being made with Codename Engine and the gameplay is estimated to be 1+ hour long. Since this project is ambitious, we decided to split it in two parts, so the development isn't chaotic and we're more organized.

Lemon Demon has been filled with thirst of power, and his goal was to spread a virus: The Corruption. Boyfriend and Girlfriend were his target, so when they went to the mall to celebrate Christmas, he attacked. Almost everyone was corrupted and he was successful.

Pico was able to escape from the mall, however Lemon Demon noticed and he ordered Boyfriend to follow him. They fought, however Pico couldn't bring himself to fight his old friend and he lost to them.

Today, the Corruption is attacking the city and citizens are getting alerted. Carol and Sunday tried to escape but they were too slow, Pico already found them.

The mod's first release. Our plans are that it releases MID-LATE 2026.

It will include the mod's first two weeks, and 4 extra songs for Freeplay. Here's everything detailed.

STORY MODE

Chapter 1:

The first week, it will contain one song: Invasion.

The Corruption is spreading everywhere in the city, and before Carol and Sunday can prepare theirselves, they're already here. Will they be able to survive against the corrupts?

Chapter 2: The Night of Trouble

The second week of this part, and it will contain four songs: Fate, Instigation, Hellraiser and Blowing Up.

Whitty was hiding from the Corruption to keep himself safe, resting on an abandoned train station, however he's found by Boyfriend, being forced to fight him.

FREEPLAY

There will be extra songs in Freeplay which no one has relation with each other, however each one will be unique and different, giving more variated content.

Playmate: A retake on the Whitty Psych Port mod, going for a new vibe and a lot more terrifying. This will also include a overhaul on Friend's character.

Plushed: why did we do this

Hellflames: What if Whitty was in Pico's place in Blood Moon from the original Corruption mod?

Infernal Nexus: He's mad, REALLY mad. The Corruption is no longer the threat, Whitty is.

The final part of the mod and the full experience. It will contain the final week and 3 more freeplay songs.

We won't give too much information about it to avoid spoilers, but it will be more ambitious than the first part, since we will focus more on quality than quantity.

NIGHTMARE DIFFICULTY

The mod itself will have an extra difficulty with new remixes: Nightmare!

It will make songs harder and the mechanics will be extreme, however, we don't plan to make remixes for ALL the songs, but if it gets enough support, then we might add them as updates.

Nightmare will be a REALLY challenging difficulty, made for experienced people. They will have extremely buffed mechanics, as well as no ghost tapping, health loss increase, and 10 misses limit.

The songs that we have planned to have Night remixes are: Invasion, Hellraiser and Blowing Up.
