Thunder Gun: Revenge of the Mutants

Earth has been overrun by maniacal, whip-toting Mutants and their legion of robotic drones, yet there is one remaining hope for humanity: the Thunder Gun. Command its electrifying powers to execute lightning-chains and perform huge jumps, but beware! Rainstorms will render your thunder weapon inoperable, and you must make use of your sidearm to survive. Gaining experience will unlock new weapons, perks, and costumes that can help you annihilate the Mutant scum once and for all!

Your Hit Streak and Multiplier are key to getting a large score. Depending on your loadout, your streak can be broken by missing a shot or taking damage from enemies, but there is leniency with Streak Saves (earned every 100 hits) and different perks to make maintaining your streak easier. The depth and complexity of Thunder Gun also lies in weighing whether you should be taking damage or grabbing health, as each time you grab a health pack, the respawn timer for that health pack increases. These systems along, with your choice of thunder weapon and sidearm, make Thunder Gun a complex yet simple to understand gauntlet to showcase your growing skill with each and every match.

Known Bugs

Mac /OSX: if you try to run the game and it says "this file is damaged or corrupted" or something similar, your security settings need to be set to play apps not downloaded from the app store. (System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> General -> Allow apps downloaded from) This is a known problem and I'm in the process of getting certificates to fix the issue. Thank you for your patience.

Windows 8: There are issues on Windows 8 when using a gamepad/controller; if you remove or connect a gamepad during play or other circumstances, the game can crash.
