I love a good old school side-scrolling mystery game! And this one has a lot of potential.

Right from the start I appreciated the feel of this game, being able to name and customise your character is quite a rarity in a game of this type, so that was a nice little surprise!

The aesthetics, the atmosphere created by the soundtrack, the subtle tension growing in the background and the puzzle elements all added up to a very rich experience that definitely left me wanting more!

My only criticism would be the text, some of the writing is a tad hard to put together so that may need some work going forward. But it was still well put together enough for me to get through the puzzles (even though my general idiocy made it harder haha!).

Definitely keep plugging away at this one, I'd love to play more of this! Keep up the awesome work =)

TIDES OF YESTERDAY is a Platform shooter with Survivor Horror aspects. The tale starts in 1994, leading a camp group of friends to somewhere strange beyond what and where they could be.
