What do you think?

A friend and I played this together. Our reviews and analyzations are quite different, but as a whole what I could say is: Your conceptual foundation is solid. I very much enjoy this concept, and my biggest horror weakness is being pursued by large mysterious hellspawn, so you also won me over there in terms of the panic factor. Just about shizzackled my pantalones on several occasions, contrary to the absurd amount of giggling I did during my play. (I tend to giggle when I either get injured or scared. I ... I don't know ...)

Now ... I'm not sure what kind of team you have behind you in terms of numbers and individual responsibilities, but I think you could have a pretty solid concept demo if select refinements are made. The biggest point of criticism I have are in two areas: Intricacy of the maze and voice acting. Repeat playthroughs became tedious pretty quickly for us, honestly, and it felt stale on the third go around. Not being a game designer myself, I have no clue on what to suggest, so I'm just reporting my feedback as a player. The voice acting ... left something to be desired, to be completely transparent. This alone really broke the intended mood of the game for us.

SO! In conclusion, as mentioned previously, I'm not a game designer, so take this comment for whatever you find its worth to be. :3 Only want to be honest in the hope that my words can help you refine and get a better and better product, which you have the capabilities for. Keep at it, would like to see what you expand on in the future!

ok quick question about the mining segment about what exactly I have to do in there because from my pov all I did was walk in and in just 5 seconds I was dead any help please?

A very interesting game!
Although I thought it would be more of a horror game, the idea is great!
Exploring the maze in your head, trying to find a way out whilst insanity is catching up to you... Truly wonderful!

I also made a video about it, with a link leading here so that others can play it too!

Feel free to have a look:

To Lose One's Self traps the player within their own mind, an unbeatable maze. There is only one saving grace, the ability to "drop the walls" for a brief period of time. However, a monster also lurks this maze, and when the walls are down there is nothing to stop him. Better run.

*Myself and some other developers are interested in expanding upon this concept with a much grander design in mind. This is kind of a prototype for that, so if you enjoy the game please follow and rate it =D
