This is a very gorgeous game
The game was very nice, I did notice a spelling error though. It says "Adapt And Old Dog". Adapt should be Adopt. Besides that, i give the game a 10/10.
I like how the character's mesh gradually morphs from young to old. Nice job!
Super atmosphere! Very nice job. I included it in my Music Video(game) Jam 2016 compilation video, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/D6vjPoz5MRE
I kept on changing my mind and turning around. It was too late and all the other choices had disappeared. Legit RL feels man... minus about 20 vaccinations and a few dogs. Awesome execution of an awesome idea. <3
Tranquility is a game developed for the #mvjam16 with music written by Andrew Allanson.
The game is a slice of life RPG designed to explore life. While the time limit of a game jam made achieving that difficult and a lot could be improved, this game serves to explore a different style of game. It exposes players to choices often encountered in life, often with no correct answer.
Tranquility demands the players imagination and does not tell the story for you. It provides the choices, but the solution and reasons for those choices are up to you.
A number of improvements could have been made upon this game, but its style was new to me and a significant amount of time was spent overcoming and adapting the game into something interesting.
Tranquility was designed not so much as a game, but as art to compliment Andrew Allanson's music. The goal was for both to enhance one another.
Let me know in the comments below if this was successful or not.
