God! I just came here from charity game jam's site, all I can say is that this one deserves some exposure. Simple, entertaining, great soundtrack.

Very cool! Fun to try and rack up points with near misses. I like how it lights up when you grab a sphere. Gets hypnotic after a while, then I zone out and hit a tree :)

You’ll start driving slowly in a casual stupor within the uncomfortably green forest. Your fuel dwindling, you turn towards the shining beacon of hope you assume is either more gas or a neatly contained supernova. Whew, it’s gas. Soon, the forest starts flying past you, your vehicle twisting left and right in a hapless attempt to delay the inevitable. The music starts picking up from its methodical opening, and you’re awash in a sea of flashing lights, the darkened deciduous trees becoming merely a blur. Fuel becomes ancillary, with an abundant supply spread across the once undisturbed forest. Like the best arcade games, Turbo Cristo puts you into a trance as you keep progressing. Then you smack into a trunk. Game over.

v1.01 - Now with Fuel!
I’ve added a fuel mechanic to make it more urgent for the player to collect the shiny orbs. Hopefully this will prevent players from reaching a comfortable scoring-speed ratio and make the game a bit more urgent.
