Apparently back when Purple Quest was released, the game came with a name and code you'd need to enable achievements. You don't happen to still have the game box, do you?

According to some, the game was originally so hard that the devs had to release a new version that weakened some of the enemies. You aren't sure what version you have, so better stay prepared regardless!

Some of the enemies in the game were so absurdly difficult that the developers had to weaken some and release a new version of the game.

Among various complaints about the game, one of the more minor ones was a lack of being able to actually shop at the Shop in Midtown.

One of the more confusing changes in the "fixed" release of Purple Quest was the removal of the Dark Champion. Even though an official statement was never given, some speculate that it may have been linked to "demonic propaganda." Many disagree with this sentiment, however, as the Dark King himself was seemingly unchanged in this newer version.

Legends speak of somebody crazy enough to dig at every dig spot in the game. That's honestly pretty strange, as there aren't THAT many dig spots.

For its length, the amount of consumables Purple Quest has was seen by some to be odd.

Despite the game's difficulties, it can be a rather fun challenge to try and beat it without dying.

For reasons not known, some people thought it a good idea to beat Purple Quest without using ANY items, while never dying, AND while never gaining any EXP. Maybe don't try this one.
