The Warsaw Uprising

In this game, you play as the London-based Polish government-in-exile in July of 1944.  You need to organize an uprising that will A) drive the Germans out of Warsaw and B) be strong enough to resist a Soviet military occupation.  Thousands of resistance fighters are ready inside Poland, but they need weapons.  There are hundreds of Polish RAF bomber crews who can fly nighttime weapons airdrop missions over Warsaw.  Poland’s 5,000 paratroopers could also parachute into Warsaw.  To use these Polish troops, you will need political support in London and Washington.  Be careful: it is impossible to hide such a big policy shift, so you will have to trade secrecy for Western air support.  You are about to fight the first battle of the Cold War.  Good luck! #strategy #wwii
