What do you think?

is a amazing game

that's a pretty good game man

Well, a surprisingly dark game, but that's okay. It's really good!

Wow, the graphics are amazing!

would it be ok with you if i made a mac port of this?

"Where the Moon Goes at Night" has been a hobby project of mine for the past few years between my other jobs.
Players assume the role of Shiba, a salary man who finds himself stuck on a mysterious train on "Tatentai Island".
Inspired by Space Funeral, Giftpia, and Earthbound I set out to create a game with a unique feel and approach to the RPG genre, while retaining a sort of "classic" RPGMaker game feel, ala OFF or Yume Nikki.

Most of the music is taken from a variety of external sources, although the game's custom music was created by LFob, Robert Kilpatrick, and Ego.

Where The Moon Goes At Night, at least in this form, will always remain free, but if you'd like to donate, feel free to do so here: https://ko-fi.com/16bitking

Troubleshooting:
If you're having errors running the game, download the RPGMaker 2003 Runtime Package, which should be downloadable from the game's folder if you have not done so already. If your version of the game still fails to work properly, this is a result of locale settings, which you must change yourself.

FAQ:
>What engine is the game made in?
Where the Moon Goes at Night runs in RPGMaker 2003, and this engine was chosen as it's the most popular version of RPGMaker (meaning more people are likely to have the runtime package for it), and it's also the one I'm the most familiar with, making programming easier.
>Does it work on Mac?
Unfortunately, due to the limitations of RPGMaker 2003, Where the Moon Goes at Night only runs on Windows computers.
>Did you make this game all by yourself?
While the in-game artwork and programming were created by myself, the promotional artwork, music, and playtesting were done by a few friends of mine.
>What about a sequel?
This one'll be a bit lengthy, but bear with me (please?).
When I released Where the Moon Goes At Night on RPGMaker.net, I'd stated that should it win a Misao award, it would receive a sequel. It turns out, the year of it's release, 2019, was completely dominated by another RPG Maker game, "Theia: The Crimson Eclipse" and therefore, the game didn't perform as well as I'd hoped. As a result, there will not be any sort of sequel, at least not one developed by myself.
>You should get [insert YouTube personality here] to review the game!
I've emailed a couple of YouTube personalities known for making RPGMaker content about the game, but it's ultimately up to them if they'd like to or not.
>But where DOES the moon go at night?
That's just the title of the game.
