What do you think?

Just wanna say this: Karla is cute.

I'm super upset with myself for missing the game when it first came out. But I'm glad I finally got around to it because it's honestly one of the most hauntingly brilliant experiences I've ever had.

A point and click adventure game from a second person narrative is quite a trip, I have to say! As we lurch around the place as the enigmatically emotionally charged Karla generally scaring the hell out of people and putting pieces of a very intricate puzzle together I can't help but feel that there's such a big world behind this one tale, something we're not allowed to know but can't help but look for anyway.

Every single element of this game screams for attention as you play. The garish backgrounds that change depending on which character is in the area (a very nice touch), the multitude of differing characters who all have their own hopes, dreams, aspirations and fears and of course the over-arching story itself, which builds up and up to an amazingly satisfying crescendo and an abrupt ending.

I can't recommend this game enough really. Fans of point and click games will love it, fans of super weird stuff will also love it. I think that encapsulates me pretty well too, to be honest.

So what are you waiting for? Get stuck in, Karla's waiting!

This game is really, really great. I love the art style, I loved the length of the experience, the game wasn't ridiculous challenging like some point and clicks are, the characters are great. There is also the added element of all of the details being given from the thoughts of the people around you, instead of your characters inner monologue.
It really is a superb effort to be honest! I will look out for more work from you.

So, why isn't there a YouTube video attached here like usual, well...

Once you go into Isaac's door at the end of the game, the game ends by clicking on him. After that the game minimises itself, I'm not sure if that was by design like a lot of indie games do, but it's what mine did.
At this point the game was sitting on my task bar, so I clicked it again to see if there was a little secret or something along those lines.
This made my computer crash. So the final scene of the game was stuck on my screen, even though everything was running in the background, I couldn't get to it to stop the recording. Crtl, alt and delete brought up the Task Manager couldn't get rid of it, and eventually after much effort I had to sign out of windows. Which caused the recording to end abruptly, leaving the MP4 file unfinished and unusable.
These things happen of course, but I just thought I'd give a heads up about it.

Anyway, it's a shame the video never made it, but I still had a really great time playing the game and would highly recommend it, especially to fans of 90's point and click games.

Stories are made of reality and perception. If there are three people in one reality, then there will be three different stories.

In this point-and-click, your character is presented through the perceptions of NPCs, as they narrate the descriptions for what they see your mysterious character doing. Rather than physical objects, the items here consist mostly of information to be used against people. The NPCs can only try to comprehend what they are seeing based on their own knowledge. Even with, or perhaps because of, the stories clashing together, there are holes. Different personalities see different things.

In the end, the story of this reality is up to your own perception.

Perception goes both ways. How you see the world is telling of who you are.

Aiming for that old 90's anime feel. A peek at the sorta style I'd be interested in for my next game =]

Thanks for the feedback on the other one! What do you think about this one?
