hi there, thatonegamergeek2!) just wanted to ask - is the game already available? i can't find a button to download it on gamejolt, and if not, then what is the presumed release date for Wispol? judging by the description and the screenshots it sounds awesome! the will-o'-wisp aren't explored all that much in the fantasy genre, and having a game centered around them is a great idea!)

You've just moved to the much smaller town of Wispol with your mother leaving behind your big city life to take over an old relative's place. The tiny town's big seller is that they are a hotspot for sightings of the mythical being, the "will o' the wisp". The residents and a few tourists swear they're real, but nobody else really believes it. The excuse among the locals for never having a live specimen is that they dissipate to escape. Before you moved your friend dared you to try to find them. Do you think you can?
This game has 24 endings in full, each being triggered by different combinations of found wisps. There's 7 main areas to explore and 2 secret ones, each being a habitat for new kinds of wisps to find! There's also added side quests as well to find certain wisps where you can choose good or bad paths. While exploring you can look at all of the cute wisps you've found so far in a compact notebook that you get in the beginning that has the species, habitat, age, birthday, rarity, and a bit of lore of the wisp. (Disclaimer: I made the info in December 2019, so the birthday/age are figured from there, and switching from day to night does not influence these) Also make sure to read the READ_ME file included in the game folder for the controls, credits, etc. Also remember to check everywhere, wisps are elusive little creatures after all!
All of the wisps are drawn out for their page graphics! I'll work on the sprites next, then the extra details not on the page, so after the next update following updates may be slow. I'm admittedly not sure I'm ready to be done with my favorite project...
The sprites and graphics are getting done much faster! I found a nice spot at a park and it's really helping my productivity
The wisps are all finally designed on paper, which was honestly the hardest block for me so far. I'll try to work on the extra details that aren't on the progress sheet in between working on the graphics and sprites.

The entries are done! I've started doing the paper designs for the rest of them and that's going pretty fast too! I'll definitely be dropping off for a bit though. Something big is coming up that I want to focus on, so I'll be back after that
ALL THE MAPS (including the special secret areas) are DONE! And I've written the entries for more of the wisps, so that's the bar I'm gonna be working on filling next!
Basically all the maps are finished! So that's a decent part of the game done! The most tedious part anyway.
Alright so I got a new computer, and a new update on progress for y'all! It's not a whole lot, but I'll be getting more done soon now.
So.... I finally was about to update again. Because I got A LOT done. Like the game was mostly done kind of a lot. My computer just killed itself. So that's fun. I have no clue when I'll be able to get another. I'll try to save the files and update then.
I added a new line at the bottom that shows how much the entire game is done too! And I've gotten a lot of the maps done! I'll be adding the wisps to the forest soon so the number in game will be shooting up too!
