X-Drums 2.0 is a multiplayer online platformer with old-school pixel graphics.
You play as a musician drummer created in the Japanese chibi style and your objective is to collect notes and find a way out. The game space is filled with drums, hi-hats, moving platforms on which you can walk and jump. The game is full of cute fangirls who can take away the notes you collect. It has spotlights that can blind you. And it has flying cupids who can stop you with arrows. Despite their presence, the game does not involve combat and characters cannot get injured.
Available modes:
The game supports two multiplayer modes, which can be selected in the hosting menu, as well as a single-player mode.
Co-op - is a co-op game in which you and other players need to collect the required number of notes and get to the evacuation point together.
Versus - is a competitive game in which you need to collect the required number of notes faster than other players and be the first to reach the evacuation point.
For joining players, the selected mode is displayed in the Join menu and in the lobby.
How to find a server and join a game:
Players should have a Steam account in the same download region (the country of the account does not matter).
In the hosting menu you can enter the desired server name (it doesn't matter if it's letters or numbers).
If you can't find the server, you should disable the firewall and other PC security systems. After this, restart the game.
Once you have found the server in the Join Menu, click on the row with its name and then click the Join button.
The game starts 10 seconds after the second player appears in the lobby. During this time, other players may join.
The maximum number of players is 5.
If you don't have a Steam account and don't want to get one, you can play in single-player mode.
Control buttons:
Use the mouse to select in the Main Menu and InGame Menu.
Use [A] key to move left and [D] key to move right.
Use the SPACEBAR to jump.

X-Drums 2.0 was developed on Unreal Engine 5 with the goal of learning the C++ programming language while creating a multiplayer online game. The game is under development and some issues may occur during the game.
