You Are In a Maze

Legends tell of a maze.
When you die, your spirit becomes trapped in this maze, doomed to forever walk its halls in eternal torment.
The maze is lorded over by the Goddess of Death, whose duty it is to ensure that no soul escapes, by any means necessary.
Rebecca was everything to me, in a world I was certain was out to get me. Not until she was already dead did I realize just how good I had it.
"Move on," they said, "she's gone for good."
But I'm not going to let go.
I had been afraid, trapped in my own petty sorrows. She helped me to see the light in the world. She gave me a purpose when I believed I was useless.
She helped me escape my maze.
No, I'm not going to let go...
I'm going to return the favor.

Trapped in a maze meant to serve as a tomb for the dead, eternal pessimist Zack struggles to escape with his girlfriend before the maze claims him as its next victim.

Aided only by his cheery girlfriend Rebecca and a mysterious gunsmith, Zack aims to surmount impossible odds by battling through nine distinct mazes, each with their own sets of traps and dangers, and a crazed servant of the Goddess of Death just dying to prove themselves to their master.

Collect upgrades, choose from three separate weapon paths (Hand-to-hand, Melee, and Guns), get up close and personal with unique and deadly bosses, and explore the plethora of bonus mazes available after the main story.
