The combination of themes chosen for this game was: Colors + War + Darkness.
The world is filled with Darkness after the Zombie Apocalypse.
One man, armed with a katana sets out on a War to end the Zombie menace and bring Colors back to Earth. Slaying 30 Zombies will end the objective and another 3 kills will end the game. The difficulty was set low so that the game could be played and judged quickly :)
Hint: The difficulty can also be changed by changing the number in "data.cfg" file
The darkness is implemented as a grayscale effect with low brightness using GLSL. As the game objective is achieved, the brightness increases and colors come back to life.
Note: The game mechanics need to be polished. ZW is not a perfect platformer, it has only 1 platform (DUH!) The biggest disapppointed has to be the fact the player character has NO walking animation! How dumb! There was nothing I could do, my art skills are pathetic at best.
Making my own sprites was difficult, let alone editing an artist's sprite.
Hopefully, I'll soon make it a proper platformer with JUMP! :P
