0.3.0 patch coming this week! - Wildlife Survivor

Greetings!

It’s been awhile since the last update. I’d thought of updating on what’s going on. 0.3.0 patch is quite an update. Mainly focusing on difficulty settings, options, some tweaking, etc.

Patch should be rolling around soon, in time for the Halloween season. This patch may make the game scarier, or much less scary. You can customise your experience with the custom difficulty settings, or just select predefined difficulties such as easy, medium, or hard.

Balanced out some player variables such as how fast they get thirsty and how much stamina they use while sprinting. It should be less of a hassle having to constantly look for water. Additionally, the player now has a new mechanic that allows them to leap forward with extra velocity. This is useful for dodging the wolves before they pounce on you. That said, a few “boss” wolves have been updated to be much more threatening and unpredictable, requiring the user to make use of the new mechanic.

Here are the custom difficulty settings coming for next patch. (Others were cut out, or will be implemented for next minor patches)

I’ll be posting the patch notes upon 0.3.0 launch. Windows platform will be updated first, then the web build.

Have a great Halloween season!

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

New challenges & new effects!

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)
