Blastoise has cannons on its shell that sprays out powerful water blasts that can pierce through steel. Where the water coms from exactly is unknown.

Ivysaur (The Seed Pokémon)
When the flower on Ivysaur's back is ready to bloom, it gives off a distinct sweet-smelling amora. This Pokémon will also spend more time within sunlight to prepare to evolve into Venusaur.

Charizard (The Flame Pokémon)
Its flames are hot enough to melt boulders, and can even intensify into blue flames if angered enough.
For some reason, Charizard also couldn't use its wings to fly in the early days of Kanto.

Venusaur (The Seed Pokémon)
Using the flower on its back, it's able to convert sunlight into energy. It is also believed that it hosts a gathering of Bulbasaur in a mysterious garden with the intention to help them evolve into Ivysaur.

Thanks to the rounded shape of its shell, Squirtle can swim at high speeds in the water. It can also spray water from its mouth as a powerful attack.

Charmander (The Lizard Pokémon)
A flame burns at the tip of Charmander's tail. This represents the Pokémon's general health. It burns brightly when the Pokémon is healthy and goes out once the Pokémon dies.
