Commonly found in caves and the desert. It can curl up into a ball to protect itself and has sharp claws allowing it to dig underground.
It dislikes water.

Vileplume (The Plant Pokémon)
Its petals are one of the largests in the world. It contains a poisonous pollen that can paralyze a prey, allowing this Pokémon to devour them.

Parasect (The Mushroom Pokémon)
By now, the mushroom on this Pokémon's back has fully taken over its host. The bug now has to rely on its fully-grown "Tochukaso" mushroom for survival. If it comes off, it dies.

Venonat (The Insect Pokémon)
Its eyes function as a radar, allowing it to find its prey even in the dark. Venonat is drawn by moonlight, and thus only comes out during nighttime.
And if you look closely, its eyes are actually a cluster of tiny eyes.

Zubat (The Bat Pokémon)
A very, very, VERY, VERY common sight in caves. It emits ultrasonic waves to identify its surroundings.
It says within the darkness because direct exposure to sunlight can cause burns.
...did i also mention it's very common??

Gloom (The Weed Pokémon)
No, that's not drool oozing from its mouth. It's a nectar that is used to attract prey. It can also act as a fertilizer for plants and as an ingredient for perfume.
Also, it's important to note that it smells horrible.

Oddish (The Weed Pokémon)
Scientifically known as Oddium Wanderus. At night, it wanders around to scatter its seeds, and withdraws back into the ground at day. If you try to yank it out of the ground then, it shrieks horribly.
