Today this game celebrates one year since its release.
What do I think of this game?
I still think it's good or Decent.
This was a game I wanted to make since 2023 and it came out in 2024. These were the second original characters I created, and also the first spin-off of TDNaAAT.
I still like this game, but there are things I would like to change. I don't think the name “Diner” makes sense because from what I've seen, they are small places, and a diner is a large place...
I think the weakest point was the story. It's not necessarily bad, but I think it's boring. Just defective robots and that's it (Linos' diner is possibly the only restaurant in the TDNaAAT universe that had no incidents). I also think I could have explained the mechanics better and made them make more sense. I plan to make a sequel, and I'll try to make a better and more interesting story.
I was thinking of making a 2.0 version, but I think the game is fine as it is.
But I think the best thing for me was the characters. I think they were the most unique animatronics I've ever created. What I like most are their designs, especially Carl the hyena, I think I was the first one to come up with the idea of an animatronic hyena
They are not my best models, they have some errors, but they possibly have my best concepts
Update v1.3
To celebrate the anniversary of this game, I made a new update with some new things!
-Much of the gameplay has been recoded.
-A new fade effect has been added.
-Some bugs have been fixed.
-No more unfair intakills.
-The difficulty has been increased a little more.
-New jumpscare animations.
-New Lino mechanic
Now there are two ways to avoid it.
If his eyes are red, activate the jammer. If his eyes are very red, activate the hyperflash, and you only have two seconds to react, so be quick
That's all. For my first complete games, this is perhaps one of my best, and although it has its flaws, I still like it.
