10.000 plays. Wow, how fast these things can go. If you want to, you can read my thoughts regarding this milestone and the future of starrune.


I was waiting for that milestone, considering I always had a few downloads per day, it was a matter of time. But it seems like I've been blessed with some really great days. While it isn't exact it is quite close to a 1 follower per 200 plays ratio, not sure if that's good or bad though.

I am amazed at how much joy Starrune has brought to people over the years, I try to watch every single let's play or stream of it I see. That is my happy place.

I am planning on starting to develop my dream game soon, as I think I have finally found out what it is supposed to be. It will probably come with like a "Soft reset" considering my name contains the german of Snivy. I won't tell what my dream is yet, as I still have to define the details, but it will be like Starrune, at least in some sense. I have always been someone who kinda does whatever I want.

I am really happy for this milestone. While there are many times I feel afraid and many times I feel depressed and empty, there is something great about knowing that I could create something that reaches so many people.

And I also realize that being creative and creating things is what makes me most happy, it's what keeps me alive in an abstract sense. And while there is a certain sadness in me not being the lead developer of the starrune remake, I think it's healthy. I think growing up is important. Seeing what other things this world holds. While Deltarune will always be a part of me, I believe I can make something that can stand on its level in it's own right. Starrune has always been about being it's own just as much as it is a tribute to Deltarune and Kirby and everyone else who makes a cameo. But I have to start making that dream game, and I now start working on the planning required for me to start, questions about artstyle, setting etc.

I am not sure what I will do next, but as long as my hobby is being creative I will surely do something. Maybe even something related to starrune like starrune chapter 0 or some crap like that.

Also play Loving Genesis or my fire emblem things please, I put in lots of work into those too. Loving Genesis is like starrune's "Sword Route" and my fire emblem games are another weird crossover world made by yours truly (including a christmas special with starrune connections.)

Happy Halloween! For the occasion I tried to make a sprite of Kris cosplaying as Amitie from Puyo Puyo. I changed the color palette slightly to be more fitting for Dark World Kris with their blue skin and all.

I just learned how to create GIF's of STARRUNE. So I am planning on maybe making a few of them to give the site a bit more flair.

Starrune went through a lot of demos before I finished the game. Plenty changed, the Parasol Dees used to be a true menace.

Also look at the "Chapter 1 like hp stat" the game used to have. (+5 HP is from it being post Bugzzy)

I composed a small track for the upcoming update, I will release it halloween for the anniversiary btw. It is a GLACEIR take, but don't worry, I'll won't be including unnecessary Chapter 3 and 4 elements. I just want to give a certain scene extra flair.

I dressed Ramb (Deltarune) up as Annabelle, the main boss of "Loving Genesis".

In making my "Ramb boss take" not Ramb, I truly did copy the "Outsider Ramb" thing. Treating Annabelle more like how Ramb in game.

Reduces the game's appeal, unfortunately.

I added in an NPC to the Hive area who complains about the ladybug dodging challenge. A challenge that expects you to no hit attacks that heavily rely on RNG, a not so popular addition. Share your pain with a cameo NPC!
