11 months. Next one will mark it a year.

(Yay, ramble time.)

It's been 11 months since I started rebuilding the game from the ground up in Unity Engine. I guess it's safe to assume I am definitively sticking to it, as the base framework for the game is nearly feature complete!

...Until I realize again that for the actual game I gotta design levels, make several art, animation and more audio assets, work on the story elements, including writing shit--

But this time. Just this time, it will actually go much smoother. Don't wanna jinx it, but it's actually going great, somewhat!

...Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got a final project to do for my college graduation. In Unity, too.

Sucks it's not a game though, but some lame chat app, but holy shit, I can program better than Yandere Dev.

Yeah no, I'm actually growing very fond of Linux, I even installed it on my work/chill laptop I hire-for-purchased recently.

After sharing this on BlueSky and Mastodon, I feel like you Game Jolt folks would like to see it too.

So, have a snippet from the tech-prototype!

Side-scroller to First Person switcheroo, anyone?

(it'll get more interesting from this point onward soon)

Missed a day. I am sober. I can finally ease down on using this place for the rest of the year now. Goodbye lmao

Two things in one clip:

More pixelated gore

and a newer entity system which will allow for entities to be controlled by both the player and inherited unique behavior hosts.

Bloody hell indeed.

LMAO

Installed Pop_OS on a separate disk.

Did not like the GNOME desktop environment.

So I installed KDE Plasma instead.

I am enjoying this. c:

Was originally gonna keep it a Patreon & Boosty exclusive clip, but Stramedia will be using Vulkan on Linux + SteamOS.

How can you tell?

...OpenGL doesn't render decals. lol

I heard of "being on fire" when you're having a streak, but this is ridiculous.
