Tested improvement on Quality of Life so far :
Main menu — Use keyboard ‘backspace’ / controller ‘B’ to change save slot
In game — Use keyboard ‘WASD’ / controller ‘D-Pad’ to switch between menu tabs on options popup and resting place UI
Multichoice — Use keyboard ‘ASD’ / controller ‘D-Pad’ to switch between choices
The pointer is still there if you’re already used to it.
As for contents :
New NPCs as displayed above. They came to Dokia with their own agendas and may offer free items or new quests, or have their companions fight you. Be careful.
Changed movesets of a handful of bosses.
A little bit of changes on how some quests works. You may need to do less to complete certain quests, or more.
As for mechanics :
No more penetrating arrows for your powered bow, or any projectiles for that matter. Sorry! As it turns out, giving projectile penetrating capability has made the game more broken than we thought. But instead, powered bow will have another effect.
Your ghost will follow you all the time. Toggling ghost behavior (this time it’s named ghost mode) will make it switch to ‘auto-fire mode’
New HUD, to accommodate gameplay, now that you use separate buttons to use melee weapons and ranged weapons. See the previous update.
Primal magic : Now it will ALWAYS charge your melee weapons with lightning and your ranged weapons with wind
Elemental magic : Now it will ALWAYS charge your melee weapons with fire and your ranged weapons with ice
And since the basic mechanics here is already established and has pictured most of what we want to make in this game, the next patch will mark the end of the pre-alpha and change it to DEMO version. By that point, the next version is going to be the full release itself, with its date TBA.
