2022 Update:

Been quiet for awhile, a lot of that due to life interference. But it's a new year and so it's a good time to give an idea of what's coming for Tales of Cognisia.

Read about it below!

To be honest, production has been slow since it's still only me working on this and I've not always been in the right mind to dedicate ample time to the project.

However, a couple weeks ago I came across something that will improve how the overall game will look! On the flip side, this will delay things more since it also requires some of the overworld visuals to be totally changed.

I won't spill the beans on what this big change is just yet but it's definitely gonna be awesome!

More info + a trailer in the future!

This Satuday we invite to watch another #speedpainting of our artist Daniel Faiad.

How great is this scene of #Pecaminosa?

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Family band complete!

What you all think

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Update 2.627

New challenges & new effects!

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.
