4.20.19 Work Log for the Week


Bugs Fixed
-Some signs not registering as being read, leading to many pop up boxes
-Zone flags not being visible for the room the game is initially loaded in
-Layering issues in shops making shopkeeps show up under the floors and over the counters
-Percentage meters all being wrong visually
-Quests not loading back into the game properly

Backend Inprovements to TurnipEngine
-Fixed some issues with instance scripting, allowing for faster processing GM side
-Adjusted some maths use in the Percentage Bars throughout the game (more accurate)
-Backend scripting system updates, leading to mods becoming possible soon!

Added Features
-Some new Shipping Boxes around town, though they have a catch!
-Friends! Now you can befriend NPCs!

Some of these features/Bugfixes may not be accessable in the DEMO version of the game.

GamePads, Biatch! Play with your favourite gamepad! Support is technically limited to Xbox pads, both 360 and One, but should work with any Xinput pad. Have fun, and check the Key Map for controls!

We are under attack!

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Enemies can also suddenly spawn through Realm Rifts. These Rift Spawns are going to be stronger than the ones wandering around. TBD on the enemies... #screenshotsaturday #godstear #madewithunity

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
