A Bad Day At Work: News/Current Plans

I've finished setting up this page, also uploaded a couple bits of teaser music to https://soundcloud.com/redwoe (More tracks will be uploaded there as time goes on.)

Next up is working on making the demo playable, and perhaps a nice little trailer to go with it.

So what still needs to be done? Not too much!

  • Art (primarily populating the existing levels with more of it)

  • Bugfixes (some big, some small)

  • I may get sidetracked and add new features but I'll try not to!

What will the demo be like?

  • It will have the first few 'levels' and most of the main features/mechanics.

  • It should be pretty much bug-free, and the levels included will have a nice level of polish.

For the time being, up until the demo's release I will try to write devlogs on here fairly regularly, even if just to showcase a new gif or some art, or even just that I fixed a particularly annoying bug.

Thank you for reading, and be sure to follow if you want to be kept in the loop with ABDAW's development!

Art Overhaul

The team has gained an artist! This has allowed us to both improve the art in existing levels, and have more pretty art in new ones.

More updates coming soon!

P.S. sorry for dodgy gif compression!

art comission.

Chiaki Nanami!

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

Heya there! I really wanted to show you all a little gameplay preview of the first boss fight i'm currently working on i hope you like it ^^

Enemies can also suddenly spawn through Realm Rifts. These Rift Spawns are going to be stronger than the ones wandering around. TBD on the enemies... #screenshotsaturday #godstear #madewithunity

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Strange Umbrella

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.
